SKUAST Kashmir Project Associate Recruitment 2025: Walk-in Interview for M.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture Graduates
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Kashmir has announced a walk-in interview for the temporary position of Project Associate-II in the Division of Fruit Science, Faculty of Horticulture, Shalimar. The recruitment is for the project titled “Demonstration of site-specific Apple orchard systems vis a vis Nursery development under Himalayan agro-ecological conditions of Kashmir”, funded by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

- Monthly Emoluments: ₹28,000 + 16% HRA

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Horticulture or Agriculture
Desirable Qualification:
- Research experience in temperate fruit crops, especially apples
- Preference will be given to candidates with NET qualification
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 21 to 45 years of age
- Age relaxation applicable as per GoI/ICAR norms
Important Instructions
- The position is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Candidates must bring a neatly typed biodata, original and attested photocopies of qualification/experience certificates, and a passport-sized photograph.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required from the employer if already employed.
Note
The selected candidate will not be entitled to claim any regular appointment as the post is temporary and need-based. Emoluments will be paid as per GoI/ICAR norms.
